  3. with "gzip" (ending in ".tgz").

  6. files will be of the format "acroread_<PLATFORM>_30.tar.Z" where "<PLATFORM>"
  7. is one of "aix", "hpux", "linux", "sgi", "solaris", "sun", or "sgi" - simply 
  8. replace that longer filename with the 8.3-compliant filename in any command(s)
  9. suggested in these files.

  11. Archive files which begin with "ar" contain Acrobat Reader 3.0 software without
  12. Acrobat Search. Archive files which begin with "rs" contain Acrobat Reader 3.0
  13. software with Acrobat Search, allowing keyword searching through collections of
  14. PDF documents indexed with Adobe Acrobat Search.
